Our team began supporting AF/A9 with analysis as the pandemic made its way to the US and we waited to PCS after our recent AFIT graduation. As the crisis rapidly developed, we created AFIT CHAD (COVID-19 Health Assessment Dashboard) app to provide a standard location to receive historic and projected COVID-19 information regarding infection and local hospital impact around Air Force installations. Outputs from various projection models are displayed to provide a more holistic view of the pandemic impacts over time. This presentation provides background information on our initial involvement in crisis analysis along with the design, development, and launch of CHAD.
